“The future does not fit in the containers of the past.”

-Rishad Tobaccowala

Through the eyes of the writing obsessed:

My name is IvyLee Rosario. I am a recent Journalism graduate of Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn. I am a travel fanatic, grammar nerd, dog lover, movie buff and aspiring writer.

I am a Journalist dedicated to all forms of writing. Whether it be hard hitting news, entertainment pieces, editorials or travel writing, I can always be found with a pen in my hand waiting for the next story to be written and shared.

I am an avid traveler -- from multiple cities in the United States such as California, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Florida, to getting the opportunity to sail the Mediterranean Sea for two months visiting countries such as Morocco, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Spain and more. I have cherished every experience throughout these different cultures and strive to bring that different perspective into my everyday writing.

Nothing teaches a person a little perspective than not being able to drink tap water without getting sick, something we take for granted everyday. Or walking around with a hidden money pouch because everywhere you go people warn you that you have a higher chance of being mugged in a foreign country than in your own city in America. Throughout my journey I broke down those barriers of fear and instead opened myself up to new people and cultures all while learning new things about myself in the process and thus sharing those experiences with others around me.

I want to be a Journalist readers can count on, someone that won't just tell them what they want to hear or should know, but the truth; the whole story from start to finish with the most important details, because as a reader myself I know that is what I would want.

All photos taken by me, going clockwise: the Parthenon in Greece, the Big Ben clock tower in England, the Colosseum in Italy and the Hassan II Mosque in Morocco.
